This Act 146 overview has been developed by The Keystone Link Coalition, which aims to elevate awareness and enhance collaboration to prevent and interrupt cycles of violence against animals and humans.
Safe havens for pets are sheltering services available to help individuals experiencing domestic violence place their companion animals out of harm's way so that they may seek safety for themselves.
